Titicaca Lake

Lake Titicaca at an altitude of 3810 meters above sea level, is the highest navigable lake in the world. Has 176 kms. long and about 50 miles wide. Powered by Ocho Rios is part of the border between Peru and Bolivia. The cave paintings found around the lake show the life of Colla, Lupaka Pukara and cultures; as well as one of the most important cultures of South America, Tiahuanaco (1500 BC-1000D.C.) The lake also posse wide variety of native fauna and flora.
